Even though it’s straightforward and totally easy, it’s also the most delicious pumpkin pie I’ve ever had. It starts with one 15 ounces can of pumpkin, puree. Make sure that you’re using the puree and not the pumpkin pie mix which, already has stuff added to it. Place that into a large mixing bowl and pour in one 14 ounces can of sweetened condensed milk, I love sweetened condensed milk so much. I’ve been known to eat it with a spoon, So good!

Next, we’re going to add in 2 eggs and then our spices starting with,1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of ginger, 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg, and then 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

Then I’m just going to use a hand mixer and mix this all together, and that’s it for the pumpkin pie filling. Next, you’ll need an unbaked pie crust. You can use homemade, or if you want to keep it, easy-peasy use a frozen pie crust or one of the pre-made rolled out ones and you, can put it in your pan. Then you’re just going to take your pie filling and pour it in. Now, this is a regular-sized pie, not a deep-dish crust. We didn’t make enough filling for a deep-dish, so make sure you use a regular size, and that’s it. Our pie is ready to bake.

How’s that for easy-peasy? You’ll take your pie and bake it in a 425-degree oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, reduce the heat, in the oven to 350 degrees and bake for another 35 minutes. You’ll know the pie is done when you can tap the center and it doesn’t jiggle anymore, Then you’ll just let it cool on a wire rack and serve it up!

• 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree

• 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

• 2 large eggs

• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
